Every accident is preventable! You cannot control the actions of everyone in the organization/company, so you personally cannot prevent every accident on your worksite; however, you can reduce the number of accidents/incidents your crew(s) are involved in, and you can reduce the amount of property damage that may occur.

You can do that by making health and safety a concern in everything you do, as basic a concern as seeing that your crews do the work they are trained for. If you continually build health and safety into your planning, your training, and your supervision, you will create an environment where people can do their best work, and companies can make lasting contributions.

Safety is everybody's business, but you are the key to making it work.
