It is the policy of Corsafety.ca to attempt to accommodate the special needs of any employee who want's to work despite the fact that they may be suffering the effects of ill health or an injury that occurred on or off the job. The objective of all modified work assignments is to provide valuable and meaningful employment and possibly the opportunity to learn new skills. We do not believe in make work projects and participation in our modified work program is voluntary. Each case is dealt with based on its own merits and takes into consideration the restrictions specified by the health care professional as well as the different types of work available within our organization. In order to make accommodations it is essential to know and understand the employee's capabilities and limitations.
