Confined Space Definition
A Confined Space is an enclosed or partially enclosed space that is not intended for continuous occupancy and has a restricted means of entry/ exit, and may become hazardous to a worker entering because of:

  1. Its design, construction, location, or atmosphere
  2. The work activities/ materials or substances in it
  3. Restricted first aid, evacuation, rescue
  4. Other hazards relating to it
