Being a professional supervisor requires much more than learning information. It requires a continual process of thinking about your responsibilities and exercising your judgment in all kinds of ways. It means drawing on your own experiences and other peoples' experiences, and applying a combination of information and experience to your own worksite.
The same thinking process that applies to the traditional parts of a supervisors' responsibilities also applies in the area of safety. This course is designed to get you started in applying that process to health and safety-related issues. This first step is to start you talking with other participants and to find out what kinds of experience's people in this group bring to the course.
